Ship Spares Logistics · SSL

Critical spare parts, first mile to last mile

When a vessel, yard or MRO line is waiting on a part, Ceylan Logistics moves it end-to-end — supplier collection, main carriage, customs, and delivery to port, vessel or workshop.

Ship Spares Logistics (SSL) is our specialised corridor for marine, aviation-critical and industrial spare parts. It is not a single truck or flight — it is a controlled door-to-door chain designed for short lead times, export compliance and delivery to the place the part is actually needed.

First mile → main carriage → last mile

Every SSL quotation is priced as a three-leg journey so you can see where time and cost sit — not one opaque lump sum.

  1. 01

    First mile — collection

We collect from the supplier, warehouse or workshop. Packaging, labelling and classification for export start here.

  2. 02

Main carriage — air, courier or sea

Urgency decides the mode: AOG/critical by air, light standard by courier, economy or heavier pieces by sea LCL when suitable.

  3. 03

Last mile — port, vessel or yard

Final delivery to port terminal, CFS, vessel alongside or MRO yard — with port transfer or vessel delivery when required.

  • MRO and offshore teams facing downtime risk
  • OEMs and distributors moving aftermarket critical parts
  • Aerospace and industrial customers with AOG or line-stop urgency

Parts we regularly move

  • Hydraulic pumps, bearings and industrial motors
  • Aviation-critical units and MRO kits
  • Construction and offshore wear parts

Choose the urgency that matches downtime risk

SSL_AOG

AOG / aircraft-on-ground critical

Highest priority handling and air main carriage when every hour counts.

SSL_CRITICAL

Critical vessel / MRO spare

Fast air routing with priority ship-spares handling for vessel or yard stoppage risk.

SSL_STANDARD

Standard ship spares

Balanced cost and transit — courier for light parcels, air for larger urgent pieces.

SSL_ECONOMY

Economy

When the vessel schedule allows, heavier or less urgent spares can move by sea LCL.

What an SSL move typically includes

  • Door-to-door collection and delivery legs
  • Export / import customs entries and clearance support
  • Spare-parts packaging and classification handling
  • Optional port transfer and vessel / alongside delivery
  • AOG or critical priority when you select that urgency
  • Insurance when commercial value and cover are requested

Why run spares through SSL instead of a generic shipment

  • The product is built around downtime — urgency levels map to real carriage choices
  • First and last mile are priced and planned, not left as an afterthought
  • Customs and documentation sit inside the same quotation flow
  • You can add vessel delivery or port transfer without rebuilding the quote from scratch
